    • 1) The door is open:


      The battery is low. Please replace the batteries with new ones.


      Push the battery cover towards the direction indicated on the case while pressing down on the arrow symbol to remove the cover. Replace all 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries (1.5V) with new ones. (All the new batteries must be the same brand.) 

       
      2) The door is closed:


      If you cannot unlock the door due to a low battery, you need to use 9V emergency batteries to supply power to operate the lock.

       

      9V emergency batteries are available to buy in any good electrical store. The rectangular shaped top has a small hexagon (-) and cylinder (+).


      1) With Slide Cover

      Raise the cover completely to see the DC 9V terminal for emergency power in silver color. Make contact between the 9V emergency battery and the terminal, regardless of polarity, until the door lock operates.

      Step 1. Wait until the keypad turns off.

      Step 2. Press * to turn the light on.

      Step 3. Enter the code and press * to unlock the door. Replace all 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries (1.5V) with new ones. (All the new batteries must be the same brand.)

       

      After unlocking the door, please make sure to replace all 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries (1.5V) with new ones. (All the new batteries must be the same brand.) 

       

      2) Without Cover

      The 9V emergency battery contact point is located at either the upper or lower part (or bottom) of the keypad in the form of a DC 9V terminal in silver. Make contact between the 9V emergency battery and the terminal, regardless of polarity, until the door lock operates.

      Step 1. Wait until the keypad turns off.

      Step 2. Press * to turn the light on.

      Step 3. Enter the code and press * to unlock the door. Replace all 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries (1.5V) with new ones. (All the new batteries must be the same brand.)

       

      After unlocking the door, please make sure to replace all 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries (1.5V) with new ones. (All the new batteries must be the same brand.)  

    • Locking or unlocking the door:

      The battery is low. Please replace the batteries with new ones.

       

      The low battery alarm sound and battery indicator (by blinking in red or orange) will warn you when your batteries run low. At this point, you should replace all 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries (1.5V) with new ones. (All the new batteries must be the same brand.) 

    • The door is open:


      The dual lock mode may have been enabled. To enable dual lock mode, you need to change the position of the dual lock switch to red. To disable it, position the switch so it is indicated as black or green. When the dual lock is enabled, you cannot unlock the door from outside. In other words, the operation of the lock is disabled.


      The door is closed:

       

      The dual lock mode may have been enabled. Please ask someone inside the door to disable the dual lock mode. 

    • The volume may have been muted. When pressing the X button on the speaker, it does not make any sound temporarily. Please raise the volume or unmute the sound.


      To raise the volume, make sure that the keypad is off with the door open and enter the “code” and press 3.

       

      To lower the volume, make sure that the keypad is off with the door open and enter the “code” and press 2. 

    • Volume Control:


      1) Volume Up:


       Make sure that the keypad is off with the door open. Enter the “code” and press 3 to raise the volume.


      2)
      Down or Mute:

       

       Make sure that the keypad is off with the door open. Enter the “code” and press 2 to lower the volume. (Models with “K” in its number cannot be muted.) 

    • Someone might have pressed the keypad outside the door. Please check outside when this happens.

        

    • It may have been set to the Manual Lock mode instead of Auto Lock. Please set it to the Auto Lock mode.

       

      To set it to the Auto Lock mode, make sure that the keypad is off with the door open and enter the “code” and press 5. Then, it will beep and the Auto Lock mode will be activated. 

    • Please make sure that there is nothing blocking the door or the deadbolt is not engaged.

       

      If the deadbolt is engaged, make sure that it is disengaged. Use the code or digital key when you are outside the door and press the button or use the knob to open the door when inside the door. 

    • The door is open:


      Please set it to the Auto Lock mode.


      1) Auto Lock Mode

      Make sure that the keypad is off with the door open. Enter the “code” and press 5 to set it to Auto Lock mode (indicated with a beep).

       

      2) Manual Lock Mode

      Make sure that the keypad is off with the door open. Enter the “code” and press 6 to set it to Manual Lock mode (indicated with a beep) 

    • The battery may be low. Please replace all 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries (1.5V) with new ones. (All the new batteries must be the same brand.)
